ZINGY GREEN SMOOTHIE

  Almost all the smoothie recipes you find have bananas in them! Why? Because bananas make things creamy. Bananas are also very high in sugar (they can be very healthy...but for this reason I can't have them). This is where our friends the avocados come in because just like bananas they add that creamy texture. This green smoothie is not too sweet and has a the perfect amount of ZING needed first thing in the morning. I find the more chia you add, the more ZING you get! It is also packed with spinach...and thus an easy way to get your greens in in the A.M.
ZINGY GREEN SMOOTHIE
(Serves 2)
Ingredients:
-2 cups almond milk (make your own!)
-1 cup berries (frozen or fresh)
-1 small avocado
-2 cups baby spinach
-2 tbsp hemp seeds
-1 tbsp chia seeds
-1 tbsp coconut oil
-5 drops liquid stevia (or 1-2 tsp raw honey)
Instructions:
1) Place all the ingredients in a high power blender and blend until smooth. 
2) Serve in pretty glasses. "No one's gloomy or complaining when the flatware's entertaining" (See the video).
3) Drink up!
4) Yum. 
Oh how I wish my tea cups sang and danced for me!
